“I was doing a small series of drawings of disappointed animals in unfortunate circumstances and calling it Goddaminals. One was of a Sasquatch who couldn't sleep and was therefore quite grumpy; soon followed by a Sasquatch finally sleeping, which struck me as looking rather sensual; it practically named itself.
It was then decided to see how far this idea could go.”
